BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education defines learning disabilities as disturbances in one or more of the basic psychological processes involving the understanding and use of written or spoken language.

The Educational Enhancement Unit is established to support students with learning difficulties, psychological challenges, and medical conditions by providing appropriate accommodations that enable them to successfully complete their academic journey with confidence.

SCOPE AND PURPOSE

PSU’s Educational Enhancement Unit is committed to ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to participate fully in university activities by coordinating with departments and management.

PRINCIPLES OF THE POLICY

This policy aligns with PSU’s mission and vision concerning human values, diversity, and effective resource management to support inclusive learning opportunities.

Awareness initiatives, brochures, booths, and annual updates on the Student Affairs website support accessibility and understanding of services.
