The Process​

The application process involves filling out and submitting an online application form with all the r​​equired documents and credential uploaded before the deadline, the details of which are given below under appropriate heads. Please read carefully and pay meticulous attention to details while submitting the application because every piece of information that you provide is of consequential importance in your prospects of getting admitted to the program. The Admission Committee will consider your comparative performance over the remaining pool of applicants on academic accomplishments, test scores, personal and professional accomplishments and character, maturity and interest to the graduate program, leadership ability, communication skills, experience, and career potential.

Fee and Payment

The application fee for any graduate program is SR 500 for Saudis. For non-Saudia and international applicants, the fee is SR 550 (U.S. $133).

Application fee is non-refundable and must be paid before you submit your application.

Applications are due by 5:00 pm on the deadline day. All decisions will be released by 5:00 pm on the decision release day.

*After screening all applications and verifying all requirements are met, applications will be sent to the concerned colleges for scheduling and conducting interviews if needed.


Decisions are made on completed applications only. For those who are invited and completed their admission interview, a final decision concerning their admission will be released according to the schedule shown above.

If you receive a denial decision from the Admissions Committee, that decision is final for the year for which you applied. The Admissions Committee does not reconsider decisions for the same year. However, you are welcome to re-apply for admission to a later year.

Applicants are notified of the admission decision by the Dean of the Graduate Studies and Research only from the email (gradstudy@psu.edu.sa). Any notification concerning your admission, whether verbal or written, that you may receive from anyone other than the Dean of the Graduate studies and Research will not be valid at all. The notification will be a scanned letter signed and stamped by the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research informing you of your admission offer.

Notice: If you are offered an admission by the DGSR, your admission is not final till you provide original or certified copies of all your credential documents to the DGSR.

Deferral of Admission

The PSU might defer your admission for one year. In the same way you can defer your admission to the program for one year given that the program is offered next year.

Track Your Application

Once you paid your fee and submitted your application, you will be able to track your application status online. The process will follow the schedule mentioned in the “Application Timeline”.
