The College of Architecture and Design Plants a Greener Future in the Heart of Riyadh
To contribute to the expansion of green spaces and support the Green Riyadh initiative, Prince Sultan University, represented by the College of Architecture and Design and the community service center in the University, in collaboration with the Riyadh Region Municipality, organized the “Planting Trees and Flowers” event at Al-Waha Park in the King Salman District. The event was designed to raise environmental awareness, promote social responsibility, and enhance the urban landscape in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Faculty members and Administrators actively participated by planting a variety of trees and flowers that help purify the air, moderate the local climate, and add aesthetic value to the park and foster teamwork and collaboration between the university and governmental institutions.
Through this initiative, the university reaffirms its pioneering role in supporting national projects and connecting academic activities with community responsibility, reflecting its commitment to preparing a generation that contributes to building more sustainable and livable cities.
