Prince Sultan University (PSU) Law College is a leader in Legal Education in Saudi Arabia. The Law College boasts outstanding faculty of Law and enjoys growing numbers of capable and ambitious students. The College's Bachelor in Law (LLB) program is noted for the excellence of its design, comprehensiveness and distinctiveness.
The LLB curriculum was crafted in consultation and concert with Faculty of Law professors from the universities of Richmond, Harvard and Cambridge with the object to tailor a program that graduates legal professionals for today's world. Toward that end, all Law graduates are schooled in the following fields of law:
Administrative Law International Law
Civil Law Islamic Law
Commercial Law Legal Writing
The excellent curricular design of the PSU College of Law greatly distinguishes it from other Law programs in the Kingdom. Of special significance here are the program tracks, its bilingual focus and the wealth of opportunities for graduates. Upon joining the seventh semester (senior year), students elect one of three tracks featuring five advanced courses in these fields:
Advanced Saudi Law Commercial Law International Law
The above specializations were identified by the LLB designers as those most needed by the local and global markets for lawyers and legal professionals. In addition, the bilingual nature of the program ; 60% of the PSU courses are offered in English for those Law students electing the Commercial Law and International Law tracks – optimizes the range of job and research opportunities. To date, the College of Law graduates have been well received in a variety of Saudi workplace venues as well as postgraduate programs abroad. Hence, Prince Sultan University's College of Law is the place for the youth of today to begin their quest for promising careers in Law.
