1.1 Conference Overview

Women in Data Science(WiDS)forum organized by Prince Sultan University(PSU) in collaboration with Stanford University, aims to foster interest and professional participation by women in not only data science but also in engineering and computer science as a whole. PSUxStanford WiDS will bring together high profile international researchers and industry pioneers. Prince Sultan University (PSU) is the WiDS Ambassador, for Stanford and the forum aims to expose the latest data science research and practices in the Arab Middle East by promoting the exchange of ideas, encourage mentorship and interdisciplinary collaboration. The forum would connect regional researchers and practitioners to pioneering global data science networks.

PSU is the first university to address data science in the Kingdom in partnership with the Stanford Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering @ Stanford Guest speakers will include Arab and International female data scientists in Academia, Corporations, and Start-ups. This is a global event represented by PSU in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
