About the Position
Prince Sultan University (PSU) is seeking a motivated and dedicated male faculty member to join the General Studies Department, specializing in Communication Skills. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing students’ communication competence across academic, professional, and social contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in communication skills, including public speaking, interpersonal communication, and professional writing.
- Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that foster active participation and skill development.
- Advise and mentor students on effective communication and academic success.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, assessment, and outreach activities.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities relevant to the field of communication.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum qualification: Master’s degree in Communication, Media Studies, English, or a closely related field.
- Ph.D. holders are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching communication or related subjects at the tertiary level.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to innovative teaching practices and continuous professional development.
- Experience in Media Studies or Digital Communication will be considered a significant advantage.
