About the Center
The Quality Assurance Center (QAC) was established to monitor and oversee quality in educational standards at PSU, helping achieve national and international accreditation of PSU programs. The Center focuses on spreading the culture of quality across the University through continuous support and effective advising on quality matters, leading to the building of distinguished experiences in all academic and administrative processes. It aims to verify and ensure that the University’s services are performed in a manner that meets or exceeds internal and external educational requirements and stakeholders’ expectations. Along with other centers of the Deanship of Quality Assurance and Development (DQAD), the QAC participates actively in all quality efforts such as planning and monitoring strategic plans and program assessments, analysis of stakeholders’ survey results and key performance indicators against internal and external benchmarks, and support of accreditation processes at the institutional and program levels.
Purpose
- Monitor the quality of services provided to stakeholders with respect to academic and administrative support to help the University reify its vision, mission, and core values.
- Maintain high standards in all services to meet national and international requirements in higher education.
- Encourage continuous improvement in managing academic and administrative quality processes in accordance with national and international educational standards.
