Prince Sultan University Participates in the Saudi General Aviation Exhibition (Sand & Fun)
Prince Sultan University participated in the Saudi General Aviation
Exhibition held (Sand & Fun) at Al-Thumamah Airport in
Riyadh from November 25 to 29, featuring a wide range of aerial and interactive
activities that combined knowledge, excitement, and entertainment in one place.
The university’s participation, represented by the Aviation Management major at
the College of Business Administration, reaffirmed its commitment to preparing
qualified national talent for careers in the aviation sector through accredited
academic programs.
Dr. Bader Alaydi, Chair of the Aviation Department, emphasized that
the department’s presence in this event reflects the university’s role in
linking academic learning with modern practical applications in the aviation
industry, and in providing expanded educational opportunities for students and
aviation enthusiasts. He added that the university aims, through this
participation, to enhance specialized knowledge and offer real-world
experiences that contribute to a deeper understanding of the aviation sector.
Through its participation—represented by the Aviation Department
and supported by an active contribution from the Student Space and Aviation
Club—the university continues to strengthen its presence in the general
aviation sector by integrating practical aviation activities with the academic
qualifications offered by the university. This alignment contributes to
advancing the aviation industry, enriching the visitor experience, and
empowering national talent in line with the Kingdom’s strategic direction toward
developing the aviation sector.
