Prince Sultan University Participates in the Central/America North Airport Issues Conference in Warsaw

The College of Business Administration, represented by the Aviation Department, participated in the Central/America North Airport Issues Conference held in Warsaw, through Dr. Bader bin Ibrahim Alaydi, faculty member and Chair of the Aviation Department, who was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE).

The International Association of Airport Executives is a global professional organization dedicated to developing management and operational standards in airports, and serves as the training arm of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), one of the most influential international bodies in developing airport leadership talent worldwide.

During the Board meeting held prior to the start of the conference, Dr. Alaydi briefed board members on the university’s direction in aligning its strategy with the Kingdom’s aviation strategy through the establishment of the College of Space and Aviation Sciences and the development of academic programs aimed at supporting the sector by preparing national talent. Dr. Alaydi also highlighted the rapid evolution of the aviation industry in Saudi Arabia and its role in driving regional growth within the sector.

Dr. Alaydi further participated in two panel discussions within the scientific program of the conference; the first entitled “Digital Transformation in Airport Management,” and the second entitled “Sustainability and ESG in Aviation as a Strategy for the Future.” This participation comes as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international presence, expand academic and professional partnerships, and contribute to the advancement of aviation education and management in alignment with fast-paced global developments in the industry.
