Academic Year 2026–2027
This guide outlines the eligibility requirements, application procedures, selection criteria, and admission requirements for the Prince Sultan University Scholarship Program for the 2026–2027 academic year.
Important Dates
- Scholarship Application Deadline: Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
- Announcement of Accepted Applicants: Monday, July 27, 2026.
- Deadline to Confirm Scholarship Acceptance: Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
Important Information Before Applying
- To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must first obtain a Prince Sultan University student ID number.
- Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee the award of a scholarship. Scholarships are awarded competitively based on the approved selection criteria and the number of scholarships available.
- All applications are subject to verification of the submitted information and supporting documents.
- Applicants whose names are approved for a scholarship must confirm their acceptance within the specified period; otherwise, the scholarship may be offered to another applicant.
- Scholarship recipients are required to comply with the scholarship continuation regulations and sign the applicable agreement at the Scholarship Office.
- Scholarships do not cover students enrolled in the Intensive English Program. However, they do cover students enrolled in the Preparatory Year Program.
Eligibility Requirements
- Be newly admitted students at Prince Sultan University and possess a valid university student ID number.
- Meet the minimum weighted score required for the scholarship category.
- Submit their application within the application period announced by the University.
- Upload all required documents, including: High School Certificate; General Aptitude Test (GAT) score; Scholastic Achievement Admission Test (SAAT) score.
Scholarship Selection Criteria
Option 1: High School 30%, SAAT 30%, GAT 40%.
Weighted Score = (High School Score × 30%) + (SAAT Score × 30%) + (GAT Score × 40%)
Option 2 (SAT Applicants): High School 30%, SAT + SAAT 70%.
SAT 1500–1600 ≈ GAT 96%–100%; SAT 1350–1490 ≈ GAT 90%–95%.
Submission of the SAAT score in addition to the SAT score is mandatory.
