The Department of Architecture proudly announces that the student Rahaf Hamad Aladwan, has been nominated for the Landscape Middle East Award 2024 in the "Students Design" category. The Students Design category received over 40 student projects from more than 10 universities across the Middle East. Her project, 'Gheras', transforms underutilized urban spaces into vibrant community hubs, emphasizing sustainability and creativity under the guidance of Dr. Jane Handal.
Supported by the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and the Saudi Society of Landscape Architects (SSLA), this award honors innovative designs promoting environmental resilience, societal well-being, and sustainable growth. Additionally, Dr. Monica Moscatelli, served on the advisory and jury board for this distinguished event.
