B.S. Industrial & Systems Engineering

The Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) program is designed to prepare graduates to optimize complex systems, enhance productivity, and improve organizational performance across diverse sectors. The study plan integrates strong foundations in engineering, mathematics, probability and statistics, operations research, engineering economy, quality control, project management, and systems modeling to equip students with analytical and decision-making skills required in modern industries. Through specialized courses, students develop the ability to design, analyze, and manage integrated systems involving people, processes, information, and technology.

The program responds directly to the growing demands of both the local and international job markets, where industries increasingly require professionals capable of improving efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing quality, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. Graduates are well prepared to work in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, healthcare systems, consulting, energy, banking, government agencies, and emerging technology-driven enterprises.

The ISE program is strongly aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting national priorities such as economic diversification, industrial development, privatization, digital transformation, and the enhancement of operational excellence across public and private sectors. By developing competencies in data-driven decision making, process optimization, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the program contributes to workforce nationalization and the Kingdom’s transition toward a competitive, knowledge-based economy with global impact.
