Oracle Saudi Arabia invited CCIS students to visit their offices in Alfaisaliya towers

Oracle Saudi Arabia invited CCIS students to visit their offices in Alfaisaliya towers. The invitation was extended to select CCIS students majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Software Engineering. Undergraduate student Abdullah Alshawi and the IEEE Student branch organized the visit.


The agenda of the visit was : 


(10-11 am) Najla Alkebsi: Oracle in Saudi, team and market share. GenO Program, overview & how to apply. Soft skills/interview skills for Oracle job opportunities. Introduction to the Oracle Academy program.

(11am-12pm) Aseel & Ahmad Sabar: OCI overview & Technical Demo. 


The students were gathered in a bus that was provided by Prince Sultan University. The bus took off from the PSU campus at 9:40 to head towards the Al-Faisalia tower. Student were able to conclude the following from this visit: 

  • Learn about the Oracle Database Management System and the Oracle company business

  • Learn about Oracle solutions for Cloud computing and their applications in Saudi Arabia

  • Learn about the competitors of the Oracle company and how the market is evolving

  • Various Oracle products including GenO, Oracle-Academy, Oracle IoT solutions and Oracle Cloud platform and its applications.
