His Royal Highness Governor of Riyadh: Prince Sultan University and the Units Associated with Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science are Extraordinary Achievements and We Will Do Whatever We Could to Support Them HRH Prince Faisal Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Governor of Riyadh and the Chairman of Directors of Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science, received a delegation from the institution headed by Deputy Chairman and the Chairman of the Prince Sultan University’s Board of Trustees His Highness Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammad bin Ayaaf, accompanied by the institution’s officials and affiliates from: Prince Sultan University, King Salman Science Oasis, and King Salman Center for Local Governance. The delegation aimed to identify the foundation and its achievements to HRH Governor of Riyadh and to inform him of the work progress on the projects operating under the foundation's system. Deputy Chairman of The Board of Directors began his speech thanking HRH, Governor of Riyadh, for the amount of care and support the institution and its projects received from him. He expressed his confidence in the continuity of its development under his guidance continuing the successful journey that began with the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz. Following the speech, HRH Governor of Riyadh watched a presentation detailing the achievements of Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science presented by Dr. Abdul Majeed bin Abdullah Al Bunian who noted that the foundation is considered a systematic framework for a number of extraordinary science and knowledge-based projects. Another presentation was presented by Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Yamani that included the establishment of the university under the guidance of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, and its objectives, projects, and the achievements of students and graduates that were confirmed by the job market and business field. After that, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of King Salman Center for Local Governance, Dr. Zaher bin Abdul Rahman Othman, presented a presentation on the Center. The Center aims to document the King’s extraordinary visions in local governance that are reflected in the development of Riyadh under his governance. Finally, HRH watched a presentation on King Salman Science Oasis which is considered a model for educational scientific projects. The presentation was presented by Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Qadir Tahir. HRH Governor of Riyadh expressed his pleasure in what he has witnessed, especially the success that PSU achieved on the academic level and in the field of community service, considering it one of the foundation’s extraordinary projects that were built on a sound approach and developed by national arms. He confirmed that the university will receive all the support from his Highness. Furthermore, he noted that he will do whatever he can to ensure that King Salman Science Oasis completes one of the institute’s ambitious projects to see through its mission in the best way possible. In addition, he expressed his appreciation to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who founded this entity and headed the beginning of its journey until the PSU project became an educational institution that competes with distinguished educational institutions. He ended his speech by thanking the Crown Prince and the Deputy Crown Prince who show regards to these matters. It should be noted that the delegation included General Secretary of Riyadh Charitable Foundation for Science Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al-Thunayan and PSU officials such as vice-rectors, college deans, and some central administration directors.
