Prince Sultan University Hosts the Third Meeting for the Social Responsibility Managers and Experts Network

The university, represented by Community Service and Continuing Education Center Hosts the third meeting for the Social Responsibility Managers and Experts Network. This two day meeting is organized by the Ministry of Labor's Social Responsibility Management, and features representatives of various bodies. At the beginning of the meeting, PSU rector, Dr. Amhed Alyamani, escorted the delegation to the VIP hall and welcomed them to PSU, as the university that pays great attention to community service and regard it as one of its pillars. The meeting started at King Salman hall with an introductory film about PSU. Mr. Faisal Alyousif, from The Ministry of Labor's Social Responsibility, made a statement about the Ministry's efforts in establishing the Social Responsibility Experts Network as part of the social responsibility initiative. Following him, Dr. Shadi discussed the implementation of the program. After that, the editor in chief of The Third Bank (the encyclopedia for non-profit sector empowerment), gave an introductory presentation on the encyclopedia, which is considered in the Arab world as the leading digital encyclopedia in promoting non-profit sector. It provides free content for workers in charities and non-profit organizations. Later on, discussions were held in the meeting to come up with a comprehensive definition for the concept of social responsibility.
