Quality education is a fundamental goal that drives the mission at Prince Sultan University. PSU established the Educational Research Lab (ERL) with a vision to bridge the worlds of education research and education practice with a mission of supporting a more evidence-based education system. The ERL translates research to practice in partnership with educators, practitioners, and policymakers to develop and use research that improves academic outcomes for students.

In addition, the ERL conducted a yearly symposium to produce a unique experience in the field of Educational Research via this symposium by presenting qualified speakers, carefully selected paper presentations/posters, and intensive professional development workshops.

The ERL aims to:

Establish communication among educators and professionals at the local, regional, and international levels about the needs of teaching and learning for both K-12 schools and higher education institutions.
Develop an ongoing program where educators in the region can get information and stimulation in their respective fields by allowing them to participate in seminars, workshops, and educational training programs.
