This course will survey the various fields of psychology. Topics such as development, learning, motivation, personality, and memory will be included. The course will explore current approaches to psychology and demonstrate how biological, cognitive, and socio-cultural perspectives combine to provide a comprehensive view of human behavior, attitudes, disorders, and treatment.

The course is designed to familiarize students with the processes of communications in interpersonal, organizational, mass, and intercultural contexts. Topics covered include communication paradigms, perceptual processes, personal and professional relationships. The course also includes materials related to both verbal and nonverbal communication, communication technology, and the role communication plays in culture.

COM 301 is a practical communication skills course. Students will learn how to plan, construct and deliver oral presentations. They will gain understanding of the uses of technology in the oral communications process. During the course, the students will make several presentations. Specific areas of study include topic selection, audience analysis, being credible, using evidence, organization, delivery, and the use of visual resources.

This course focuses on developing communication skills in both written and spoken forms. It covers basic language structures, vocabulary, and effective communication strategies. The course emphasizes practical applications, such as writing letters and participating in discussions, to enhance students' language proficiency and cultural awareness.

This course introduces students to logical reasoning, evaluating arguments, and problem-solving skills. It covers cognitive processes, biases, inductive and deductive reasoning, and ethical considerations. The course involves debates, case studies, and activities designed to enhance critical thinking abilities in various contexts.

ENG 114 introduces students to the conventions and skills of journalistic writing. It covers researching and writing news stories across various genres, emphasizing process writing skills such as researching, paraphrasing, drafting, and editing. The course aims to refine English writing skills and provide a solid foundation for journalism practices.

The course explores the factors and causes of stress and teaches effective management strategies. It examines coping strategies for personal, family, and career-related stress, emphasizing cognitive and behavioral approaches to reduce stress and improve mental health. Students learn to design stress-related problem-solving strategies.

This course provides students with basic communication skills in Korean, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It introduces the Korean alphabet (Hangeul), basic grammar, and vocabulary for everyday situations such as greetings, self-introduction, and shopping. The course also emphasizes cultural awareness and the ability to engage in simple interactions.

ASIA 104 (HSK Level 1) is designed for students with little or no knowledge of Chinese language to gain basic skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing in everyday situations. This course also provides students an insight into Chinese culture (traditional festivals, calligraphy, paper cut, zodiac, etc.). Simplified Chinese characters will be taught and assessed. The goal of this course is to help students acquire commonly used characters and basic grammatical elements, and to develop communicative competence in Chinese: communicate at a basic level, create sentences, ask and answer simple questions, initiate and respond to simple statements, and maintain conversations about familiar topics. The course is conducted in Chinese with English explanations.

This course tends to introduce the target European language and culture. It will provide you with fundamental knowledge for further language studies. It will help you to develop communication and critical thinking skills, satisfy your curiosity about the target language and expand your global awareness about other cultures.

This course tends to provide students with communication interactions in the Target language. The four primary skills to be developed in an integrated way are: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The balance between these four skills should be appropriate to the needs of the students and the course components, but none should be neglected. This course is highly interactive. For successful interactions, well preparation is recommended.

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تعريف الطلاب بمبادئ وتقنيات الرسم باستخدام وسائل مختلفة، مثل الألوان المائية والأكريليك والوسائط المختلطة. وتؤكد على الإبداع والابتكار، وتشجع الطلاب على إنشاء أعمال فنية بلمسة حديثة باستخدام وسائل فنية مختلفة. كما يتضمن المقرر جلسات عملية للتجريب باستخدام مواد مختلفة لإنتاج تركيبات جمالية ممتعة.

يتناول هذا المقرر التعريف بالخطوط الأساسية، كيفية التعامل مع الحروف والنصوص، وتوظيفها في قوالب فنية. كما يركز على تاريخ نشأة الخط العربي، تطوره، وأنواع الخطوط العربية. يهدف المقرر إلى تدريب الطلاب على عدد من الخطوط العربية، واستخدام الحروف كعناصر فنية زخرفية لتكوينات فنية مشتركة.

يتناول المقرر البرامج والطرق المختلفة لتحريك العناصر مثل الرسوم، النص، الصور الثابتة والمتحركة، الصوت، الجرافكس، والفيديو. كما يتم التعرف على كيفية استخدام التقنية لتحريك هذه العناصر في صورة فيديو متكامل، ودعم مشاريع الطلاب بمهارات الرسم والتحريك.

يساعد هذا المقرر الطلاب على تحسين مهاراتهم في الكتابة من خلال التركيز على مبادئ الكتابة العربية، القواعد، وعلامات الترقيم. كما يتدرب الطلاب على استخدام المعاجم، وكتابة الفقرات، وتصحيح الأخطاء الشائعة في الكتابة، بالإضافة إلى كتابة المقالات، والتقارير، والنصوص الأكاديمية.

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تنمية المهارات الأساسية في الكتابة الرسمية والتطبيقات العملية، ويشمل الكتابة الفنية والإبداعية، كتابة التقارير، والرسائل العملية. يركز المقرر على إنتاج أنواع مختلفة من الوثائق مثل المقالات، والتقارير، والبحوث الأكاديمية والمهنية، وفقاً للمعايير الأكاديمية.

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى تعليم الطلاب قواعد اللغة العربية وتنمية مهاراتها الموجودة بالفعل بحيث يستطيع أداء العبارات بشكل سليم وخالٍ من الأخطاء الإملائية، والنحوية، والأسلوبية، واللغوية. كما يركز المقرر على رفع القدرات التعبيرية للطلاب وزيادة الثروة اللغوية، والمساعدة على استخدام العبارة المناسبة بأسلوب دلالي واضح.

يتناول هذا المقرر تعريف الأخلاق في الإسلام، وأهميتها للحياة الإنسانية، وارتباطها بالإيمان، وضرورة الأخلاق للفرد والمجتمع. كما يتطرق إلى معايير الأخلاق الإسلامية، وطرق اكتسابها، وقواعد الأخلاق مع الله ومع الخلق كافة، مع بيان النماذج الأخلاقية الفاضلة في الإسلام وكيفية تطبيقها في الحياة العملية.

يوضح هذا المقرر ماهية النظام الاقتصادي في الإسلام، وأصوله ومبادئه المستمدة من الشريعة الإسلامية، مثل: الحرية الاقتصادية، الملكية، التكافل الاجتماعي، والعدالة. كما يتناول موقف الإسلام من بعض القضايا الاقتصادية الوضعية، مثل الربا والزكاة، ويقارن بينه وبين الأنظمة الاقتصادية الأخرى كالرأسمالية والاشتراكية.

يتناول هذا المقرر التعريف بالقرآن الكريم ومدى عناية المسلمين الأوائل به، وعلوم القرآن المختلفة، والرد على الشبهات المثارة حوله. كما يتطرق إلى التعريف بمصطلحات علوم القرآن، مثل: المكي والمدني، التفسير، والتأويل، وعرض منهج المسلمين في دراسة القرآن وتفسيره.

يتناول مقرر المعاملات المالية المعاصرة خصائص المعاملات المالية المعاصرة في الفقة الإسلامي وشروط الباحث في مسائل فقه المعاملات المالية المعاصرة كما يتناول عددا من المسائل المالية المعاصرة كالحقوق المعنوية، والأوراق المالية (الأسهم والسندات)، والتأمين، وبيع المرابحة للآمر بالشراء، والبطاقات الائتمانية، ودراستها من الناحية الفقهية.

يوضح هذا المقرر أهمية الأسرة في المجتمع الإسلامي وتأثير قوة الأسرة وضعفها عليه. كما يتناول خطوات بناء الأسرة الإسلامية، بدءاً من الخطبة والزواج وأحكامه، مروراً بحقوق الزوجين، وانتهاءً بأحكام الطلاق والفرقة، وفقاً لأحكام الشريعة الإسلامية ونظام الأحوال الشخصية في المملكة العربية السعودية.
