On behalf of the SE faculty and staff, I am delighted to welcome you to the Department of Software Engineering at Prince Sultan University. We are thrilled to have you explore our department and learn more about our programs and community.
Our department is dedicated to providing exceptional undergraduate software engineering education, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals. We strive to equip our students with a solid theoretical foundation, practical engineering skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, and a strong understanding of ethics and professional conduct.
Software engineering is a rapidly evolving field, playing a vital role in driving economic and industrial growth. Our program is designed to meet the industry's demand for skilled software engineers who can develop innovative solutions for complex projects. We offer three specialized tracks: Cybersecurity, AI and Data Science, and Digital Transformation, allowing students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.
We are proud to announce that our Software Engineering program has received full accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) until September 2029. This achievement is a testament to our department's commitment to excellence and quality education.
