Getting Started with ITC
As a student or a staff member, the first step when you join PSU is to get your PSU account.
Your University Account
What does it do?
Your PSU account allows you to access to most PSU web services.
How do I get it?
If you are a staff or faculty member, your account will be created when you finish your HR processing.
If you’re a new student, your account will be created when you join the University and complete your enrollment process.
What does it look like?
Staff: Username: first name initial and full last name
Student: Username: Student ID
Managing your account
There is a self-service system MyAccount to help manage your account. It also lets you view and update the data about yourself in the University directory. If you forget your password you can usually sort it out yourself without needing to contact the Service Desk, and to ensure the security of the accounts, a policy for password expiration was set for a period of 60-90 days.
