Environmental Engineering Lab (ENVL)
Introduction
The Environmental Engineering Laboratory (ENVL) is a newly established facility designed to enhance the practical learning of environmental engineering students. It aims to support future graduate research and postdoctoral studies while fully meeting the current needs of undergraduate research. The first course to benefit from ENVL will be Environmental Engineering Processes (CEE341). The primary focus of the lab would be on water and wastewater analysis as well as the digestion of organic fractions of municipal solid waste and sewage sludge. Through structured laboratory exercises, students will develop practical competencies in experimental design and execution while adhering to rigorous health, safety, and environmental protocols.
