College of Engineering (CE) Introduction

The College of Engineering (CE) crafted a dynamic strategic plan designed to deliver quality programs that reflect excellence and leadership in higher education in Saudi Arabia and the region. The College of Engineering at PSU offers five undergraduate programs; Construction Engineering Management, Production and Manufacturing Engineering Management, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Communications and Networks Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The College also offers a Master in Engineering Management.

Moreover, the College of Engineering offers a strong cooperative (co-op) training program where senior-level students attend a comprehensive training program in leading industrial companies for a period of seven months. Therefore, the College of Engineering graduates are equipped with excellent practical experience for the local, regional and international job markets.

The contents and structures of the programs are comparable to those offered by leading universities in the region and worldwide. In addition, the programs are designed in compliance with the requirements of national and international accreditation agencies including ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).

All programs lead to a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering after successfully completing the respective curricula requirements of 138 credit hours. The study duration is four years in addition to one preparatory year.
