The students of the Zakat and Tax Law course, both male and female, visit the headquarters of the General Administration of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority.

In an effort to bridge the theoretical and practical aspects, the College of Law at the University organized a visit for the students of the "Zakat and Tax Law" course to the headquarters of the General Administration of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority under the supervision and guidance of Professor Manal Al-Qasabi.

The group was warmly received by the Director-General of Legal Research and Development, Professor Yasser Al-Faleh, Professor Mansour Al-Mutlaq, and members of the Media Communication Committee.

Following the reception, the authority's staff gave a comprehensive presentation about the organization's key functions in the field of Zakat and taxes. The meeting began with an introduction to the authority and its main tasks presented by Mr. Abdullah Al-Dakhil. Then, income tax was explained by Ms. Arwa Al-Masoud, followed by value-added tax (VAT) by Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani, selective commodity tax by Mr. Musa Al-Zahrani, and real estate transaction tax by Mr. Zaid Al-Mulify. Subsequently, the customs system was clarified by Mr. Ahmed Al-Muhamedi, and Mr. Mohammed Al-Atiq explained the process of objection and complaint handling at the authority.

The meeting concluded with Ms. Jawaher Al-Dosari presenting the organizational structure of the Legal and Compliance Department and the competence-building program offered by the authority for recent graduates.

At the end of the visit, the students' questions were answered, and the team was thanked for their warm reception, hospitality, and commemorative photos were taken.
