CAD COOP DAY : Connecting Students with Industry Professionals

The College of Architecture and Design (CAD) hosted its highly anticipated COOP Day networking event on November 21, 2024. Organized by the Architecture and Interior Design Department, this annual gathering serves as a bridge between COOP companies and students ready to embark on professional careers, drawing participation from esteemed design firms.

True to its mission, the event provided an invaluable platform for senior architecture and interior design students, alumni, and industry professionals to connect and collaborate. Renowned firms such as Motion Architects, Gallery Design, and Kristina Zanic were among the many that engaged with students and prospective interns, fostering relationships that could shape the future of the industry.

Students had the opportunity to engage directly with industry leaders, gaining insights into professional practices across both national and international landscapes. The event also facilitated meaningful discussions about internships and potential partnerships. Alumni representatives enriched the experience by sharing their career journeys, highlighting the transformative power of their education, and reinforcing the bond between graduates and the university community.

COOP Day exemplifies the College’s commitment to nurturing future design professionals by creating spaces for inspiration, collaboration, and growth.
