Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Military College Graduates
(Bachelor of Military Sciences)
In line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, Prince Sultan University aspires to develop human capabilities and to fulfil the need of governmental sectors, including the military sector. This is achieved by nurturing the administrative skills and technical abilities of its graduates. As a result, the University’s Graduate Studies Unit has established a pathway for accepting graduates of military colleges (who have a Bachelor in Military Sciences) into the MBA program.
The unit has developed a plan, approved conditions and integrated procedures for the admission of military college students to the MBA program at the university. This includes a supplementary year to prepare students with the relevant skills and knowledge before enrolling them into the MBA Program.
Targeted Sectors
- Graduates of military colleges in the Ministry of Defense and its various sectors and forces.
- Graduates of military colleges in the Ministry of Interior and its various sectors.
- Graduates of military colleges in the Ministry of the National Guard and its various sectors.
Course Breakdown
- Undergraduate supplementary year (30 academic hours)
- Foundation semester in specialized courses in business administration (12 academic hours)
- Master's Program (36 credit hours)

- Achieve a grade of “very good” in the military college
- English Language Certificate (IELTS 6, TOEFL 70)
- Undertaking an interview
Admissions Process
Application for admission to the program begins in March 2023. Applicants, whether sponsored by their employing entity or not, can apply directly from the university website.
The following documents are required:
- A copy of your graduation certificate (Bachelor of Military Sciences) with a minimum GPA of “very good”.
- A copy of your academic transcript.
- A copy of your English Language Certification (student must achieve at least a score of 6 in the IELTS test or 70 in a TOEFL test)
- A copy of your national ID.
Documents are submitted through the university website.
Course Location and Timetabling
The course will be held on campus. The classes will be held during weekday evenings from 5pm to 9pm (depending on the academic level).

MBA is structured for graduates of military colleges in three levels:
Level 1: Supplementary Year
Students enroll in the supplementary year, study 30 hours for two consecutive semesters as follows:

Level 2: Foundation Courses (Foundation Semester)
Upon successful completion of the supplementary year, the student is enrolled for a duration of one semester to study the Foundation Courses required for MBA program applicants who do not hold a bachelor's degree in the same specialization.

Level 3: Masters Program
After completing the foundation courses, the student completes the regular masters program similar to other university students. The MBA program consists of 36 study hours over two years (four semesters). The program is designed to focus on contemporary topics, future ambitions, collaboration, teamwork, leadership development and entrepreneurship.
