His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Yamani, University President, received a delegation from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development headed by Undersecretary for Labor Affairs and Chairman of the Employment Working Group, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, to discuss means of cooperation between the two parties.
After the reception ceremony, which took place in the university main, a detailed documentary film was presented about the university, its faculties, departments, research centers and facilities. After that, the delegation presented a visual presentation on the labor market strategy (skills eradication) and mutual cooperation.
Then a discussion took place between the visiting delegation and the university leaders during which they exchanged views and took clear perception of the university, its educational and training roles and roles in community service. The Education for Employment Program (E4E), which is one of the distinctive programs of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center, was also highlighted, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, as it was established to support the state's efforts to combat unemployment.
The delegation reviewed a set of qualitative initiatives that will be implemented in the future, most notably: the Skills Accelerator initiative, and the initiative of the National Program to motivate business owners that aims to provide training opportunities.
After that, the two parties discussed means of cooperation in various fields that benefit everyone and in the interest of both the country and the citizen.
