Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop IP licensing and commercialization strategies for all PSU Research labs and groups.
• Provide administrative support to establish Industry liaison and partnership development to build and maintain relationships with industry partners.
• Develop commercialization and scaling strategies and provide administrative assistance to faculty in bringing university innovations to market.
• Provide administrative support to facilitate collaborative research agreements between the university and industry partners, ensuring that IP rights and commercialization opportunities are clearly defined.
• Administratively manage sponsored research agreements where the industry funds specific research projects with potential commercial outcomes.
• Negotiate terms for licensing deals, collaborative research agreements, and other contracts involving the university's IP
• Ensure that all agreements comply with legal and regulatory standards, both within the university and the wider industry context.
• Address and manage any conflicts of interest that may arise from commercialization activities, ensuring transparency and ethical practices.
• Develop commercialization and scaling strategies and assist research labs in bringing university innovations to market.
• Work on developing modus operandi, policies, and TORs for establishing start-up companies with shared equity among PSU stakeholders including academics, students, and the university.
• Provide administrative support in business planning, securing investment, and navigating regulatory requirements.
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post as required.
