After I register in PSU, will I be registered for the scholarships program and receive the scholarship automatically or are there procedures I have to go through? No automatic registration for the students, they have to register themselves for the scholarship through the scholarship website link, or by visiting the scholarship office. However, students cannot apply for the scholarship until they are admitted into the university and have their university ID number which consists of nine digits.
I received initial acceptance into the university along with a four-digit application number. Can I apply for the scholarship?? The student will not be able to apply for the scholarship unless he/ she is admitted into the university and receives a university ID number, consisting of nine digits.
Can I reserve a seat in the scholarship? The student cannot reserve a seat without an official registration for the scholarship. The only way to reserve a seat is by officially registering for the scholarship after issuing the university ID number, and obtaining the scholarship approval from the scholarship department.
If I received a scholarship from the university, how many semesters will the scholarship cover? The scholarship covers ten semesters if you fulfill the scholarship continuity terms and conditions.
How can I know about the scholarships offered by the university, and their amount? The scholarships, its amount, and its terms and conditions will be announced on the PSU social media platforms as soon as they are issued.
What majors are subject to the scholarship? The majors differ yearly. To check what majors are subject to the scholarship, students have to follow PSU social media accounts or contact the scholarship department.
Does the scholarship cover the summer semester? No, scholarship does not cover the summer semester.
Does the scholarship cover the textbooks deposit? No, scholarship does not cover the textbooks.
What are the university's tuition fees with or without the scholarship? Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's tuition fees are (SAR 2200) per hour and a minimum of 12 hours. If a student has obtained a scholarship, the scholarship ratio will be deducted from the total price of the number of hours registered by the student. Master's Degree: Master's tuition fees are (SAR 5,000) per hour, and if a student has obtained a scholarship, the scholarship ratio will be deducted from the total price of the number of hours registered by the student.
I am a student at PSU; I have a high GPA, and I am financially distressed. I did not receive a scholarship at the beginning of my registration (based on my cumulative GPA); can I obtain a full or partial scholarship now based on my GPA at PSU and my financial needs? Unfortunately, scholarship is available for only new students.
I am a student at PSU, and I am eligible for a scholarship from the beginning of my registration at the university based on my cumulative GPA, but I missed the registration for the scholarship. Is the scholarship annual or by semesters? And what does that mean? It is by semesters, which means that the scholarship continuity terms and conditions will be evaluated at the end of each semester, taking into account the cumulative GPA and the terms and conditions that the student has signed on.
