MEET THE CAD GRADS : ID 435-PORTFOLIO DESIGN EVENT

The College of Architecture and Design (CAD) at Prince Sultan University hosted its inaugural “Meet the CAD Grads” portfolio exhibition on December 10, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This landmark event highlighted the creative achievements of 57 senior Architecture and Interior Design students as they presented their portfolios to the College leaders and visitors. Aimed exclusively at a female audience, Meet the CAD Grads; is a platform for students to showcase their skills, innovation, and design acumen. Attendees, including faculty, industry leaders, and fellow students engaged directly with the graduates, explored their work, and discussed ideas. This initiative, planned and organized by Dr. Afsina Abbasi and Ms. Muneera Al Tamimi from the Interior Design department alongside with Ms. Mariola Fernandes from the Architecture department, marked a significant milestone for CAD. It provided a unique opportunity for aspiring designers to gain inspiration from the graduating cohort and for industry professionals to connect with emerging talent. As the first event of its kind, Meet the CAD Grads underscores CAD’s dedication to fostering a culture of creativity, professional growth, and community engagement. The event was an inspiring experience for all participants, highlighting the exceptional work of the next generation of architects and designers.
