Neutral Platform to Discuss Issues
His Highness Prince Bin Ayyaf inaugurates the first edition of the Local Administration Forum on behalf of the sponsor of the ceremony
To measure our contribution to SDG 16.3.4 PSU offers a neutral platform to discuss issues of civil society engagement, governance, and the role of institutions in public dialogue. The university’s local administration center organized a forum, sponsored by His Royal Highness Prince Faysal bin Bander Bin Abdulaziz, the governor of Riyadh region, and launched by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed bin Ayyef, Chairman of the University Board of Trustees.
The Forum focused on the local administration reality in Saudi Arabia, and it defined its promising role aligning with the Saudi Vision 2030 in strengthening the role of different sectors to enhance local development. The forum raised visions and ideas emphasizing innovation and creativity in dealing with urban and local issues in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the local administration center expressed its ambition to organize this forum periodically to be a think tank gathering experts in local administration willing to contribute to research and studies to activate the role of local administration.

The Interior Design 498 senior students are set to participate in the Undergraduate Research Forum (URF) on April 28-29, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, supervised by Dr. Fatma Hasanain and Dr. Nadia Arafah in the lobby of Building 104. The forum aims to provide students with presentation experience, guidance from supervisors, and opportunities for academic growth. Research topics include women's health centers, pediatric clinics, retirement centers, holistic healing centers, special needs educational facilities, and memory care centers. Students conducted thorough research, gathered quantitative data through surveys and interviews, and presented their findings through infographics.
