Digital Academy, Continuing Education Center, Prince Sultan University Activates Red Hat Academy for Faculty, Staff & Students
Digital Academy, Continuing Education Center, Prince Sultan University announced that it has collaborated with Red Hat to create the Red Hat Academy. Red Hat Academy is an open-source, web-deployed, and web-managed education program that is designed to provide turn-key curriculum materials to academic institutions to start and sustain an open-source and Linux curriculum program. Red Hat Academy turns academic institutions into centers for enterprise-ready talent by outfitting them with Red Hat training. For more than a decade, Red Hat Academy has supplied high schools and institutions of higher education worldwide that have the required technology and support environments, with hands-on instruction, curriculum, labs, performance-based testing, and instructor support. Red Hat Academy’s web-based curriculum helps create competencies through hands-on, performance-based learning and testing.
Red Hat Academy Overview: Instructor benefits:
- Content is the same as the commercial training and up to date with the latest releases
- The program is flexible. Content can be offered as a stand-alone course, extracurricular, or incorporate some modules into an existing course.
- No restrictions on the number of students or instructors
- A Faculty member will be assigned from the university to deliver the course to the university students. he/she will be enrolled in the 100% discounted Video Classroom training including the labs.
- Instructors receive 75% off on the certification exams.
Students benefits:
- Students have access to the Free content through the portal
- Students will receive a Certificate of Completion when they are done with the course to add it to Their CV and Linkedin
- Currently offering Free cloud labs for students to practice on.
