The policy refers to the academic freedom inside the academic institutions. PSU faculty and students are free to inquire, to study, and to evaluate. The academic freedom in teaching and learning and research will serve the academy and the long-term interests of the society and will lead to the advancement of knowledge.

PSU Researchers List
Through the Research and Initiatives Center information on all PSU active researchers, research labs or groups, college, research interests, and their members are readily accessible on the center website. PSU faculty and researchers as well as external collaborators from different backgrounds can view and collaborate with the university.
Junior and Senior academics are free to undertake a variety of national and international research projects.
PSU's Research Achievements for the Second Quarter of 2023
With PSU's research initiatives, PSU achieved certain outcomes for the 2nd quarter of 2023. PSU now has 797 Scopus publications compare to 531 in Q2 of 2022, which is a 50% increase in publications.

PSU Teaching Award
Prince Sultan University will bestow one President’s Award for Distinguished Teaching per academic year. In addition, each college will have an opportunity to have a member receive a PSU award for outstanding teaching --a maximum of 6 awards can be granted. Each winner will receive a crystal apple and certificate. The overall winner of The President’s Award will receive a cash prize of 25,000 SAR.
