Description
The workshop discusses the features of vernacular and heritage architecture in Asir and presents urban planning, human aspects, environmental aspects, building design and construction methods.
The human and environmental aspects of the modern southern region will be presented along with the urban design. Then, two contemporary building case studies in Asir will be analyzed in terms of zoning, site, and other important elements. Finally, the workshop will highlights the strengths and weaknesses of contemporary residential buildings.
