More than 100 Students Joined Prince Sultan University SDG Club to Take Part of Impactful Initiatives

Prince Sultan University SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Club is the first student SDG Club in Saudi Arabia and is part of the PSU Center for Sustainability and Climate (CSC). In the first week of October 2022, more than hundred students have joined in this club.

In September of 2022, the club is formally launched. This club conducted its first meeting on September 29, 2022. On the same day, members of the SDG Club, along with the CSC Director, Associate Director, and a few faculty advisers, came together to establish the club's governing board. Ms. Yumna Alnadeem and Mr. Meshari Samir Alalkami were selected as the women's and men's Presidents of the PSU SDG club, respectively.



The PSU SDG club participated in the club fair organized by the student affairs office on September 11–12, 2022. This event marked the group's debut participation.
Several initiatives were launched during the second meeting of the SDG club, including SDG day, a free health and wellness camp, and sustainable clothing.
The PSU SDG club is making progress toward the global Sustainable Development Goals and influencing the local community by implementing important action plans and projects.
