The Department of Architecture is delighted to join the “Cultural Architecture Initiative” led by Diriyah Company. As one of three selected schools of architecture in Riyadh, the department is honored to contribute to this program in alignment with the Diriyah Biennale 2026.
Under the theme “Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future,” the initiative highlights Najdi architecture, cultural projects, and the balance between tradition and innovation. Students will engage through dedicated courses, including the Diriyah Design Studio (2025–2026), where senior students will design a cultural project within Diriyah.
Notably, one of Diriyah Company’s representatives participating in the initiative is a distinguished alumnus of the department, reflecting the caliber of professionals it nurtures
