Electronics Soldering and Desoldering Essentials Workshop

The Smart Systems Engineering Lab (SSEL) at the Department of Communications and Networks Engineering at the College of Engineering successfully hosted an Electronics Soldering & Desoldering Essentials Workshop on 21 -22 October, 2024. This workshop was delivered by Dr Mehr E Munir and provided participants with hands-on experience and practical knowledge in soldering and desoldering electronic components. The workshop covered fundamental techniques, safety precautions, and troubleshooting methods. Participants were able to practice soldering components onto circuit boards and learn various desoldering methods using tools such as desoldering pumps. In the end, Q&A allowed for valuable discussions and clarification of doubts.
