Objective:

• To recognize and celebrate staff members who demonstrate exceptional self-development and innovation through the use of digital technologies at Prince Sultan University.
• To encourage continuous learning and skill enhancement among staff members through digital resources.
• To promote the application of digital tools for the improvement of services provided to faculty, students, and the university as a whole, with special emphasis on supporting and enhancing PSU's Boed Remote Initiative.
• To foster a culture of innovation and transformation within the administrative functions of the university.

Criteria:

• Digital Professional Development: Completion of online courses or self-learning of digital skills or skills related to job tasks (with certificates or references).
• Innovative Digital Tools Application: Incorporation of innovative digital tools in daily work to support effective work (with screenshots and descriptions).
• Remote Work Enablement: Use and activation of digital collaboration tools (such as meeting platforms and task/project management systems) to support remote work, along with the development of operational procedures and guidance manuals for administrative units that outline best practices for using these tools and engaging employees and beneficiaries, ensuring efficient performance and continuity of services.
• Documentation and Evaluation: Submission of a short essay describing the impact of digital resources on productivity and innovation with specific examples, plus a supervisor's reference letter highlighting contributions to digital innovation.

Eligibility:

• Any PSU staff member is eligible to apply.
• Nominations can come from the staff member, department supervisor, or colleagues.
• Minimum of three years of service at PSU.
• A three-year period must have elapsed since any previous award win.
• No administrative warnings.
• Annual evaluation greater than 90%.
• Applicants will be evaluated based on evidence provided during one academic year.
