College of Law's Dean Discussed Ways of Cooperation with the British Academy of Higher Education for Professional Development for Law Faculty Members

Based on the importance of professional and academic development of faculty members at the College of Law, the Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, met with Mr. Christian Rampel, Director of International Partnerships at the British Academy of Higher Education. During the meeting, several topics related to the professional development of teachers were discussed. The horizon of cooperation with the British Academy was also raised in several fields; including distinguished programs in teaching, academic excellencey based on international best practices. In addition,  the possibility of benefiting from the fellowship program provided by the British Academy was discussed, in order to keep pace with international requirements and standards in higher education.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Manal Al-Qasabi, Chair of the Academic Excellence unit at the College of Law, Dr. Mohamad AlBakjaji, Vice-Chairman of the unit, and Dr. Maitha Al-Ghanmi, Member of the Academic Excellence Committee. It should be noted that the College of Law has created a unit for academic excellence for faculty members. The unit aims to enhance the skils of faculty members in the college in the fields of teaching and court applications, which will be positively reflected in the improvement of learning outcomes.
