PSU SDG Club
Who we are
Prince Sultan University SDG Club as part of the Center for Sustainability and Climate (CSC) aims to engage students in higher education to achieve Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and in the global effort to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030 (SDG) agenda towards sustainability and climate justice, as well as empower them with the knowledge, skills, and pathways to action to be effective agents of change today.
The PSU SDG Club coordinates educational events, social events, spread awareness, and advocate for sustainable initiatives at the university and among the student population in Saudi Arabia and the region.
We, the member, educate ourselves and others about important environmental and sustainability issues as well as develop a collective language and vision among the students’ community.
The PSU SDG Club also facilitates collaboration and helps get project ideas off the ground.

Vision
To Act, Build and Collaborate work towards the global Sustainable Development Goals and impact the community
Mission
To educate students about environmental and climate issues, and bring students together to discuss pressing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) issues and host events, volunteer and assist in SDG initiatives, and connect with the local and global community. The individual work will make a collective impact on the challenges posed by integral sustainability.

More than 100 Students Joined Prince Sultan University SDG Club to Take Part of Impactful Initiatives

In September of 2022, the club is formally launched. This club conducted its first meeting on September 29, 2022. On the same day, members of the SDG Club, along with the CSC Director, Associate Director, and a few faculty advisers, came together to establish the club's governing board. Ms. Yumna Alnadeem and Mr. Meshari Samir Alalkami were selected as the women's and men's Presidents of the PSU SDG club, respectively.
